BME Health Literacy 2019

VIsion

To develop a community centred approach to health and wellbeing by co-ordinating and connecting people to assets within their local area to meet their individual needs. This will increase people’s control over their own lives, supporting them to remain independent thus improving their overall health, wellbeing, and social participation.

Aims:

-To develop four easy to read Health Literacy documents.

-To be co-produced with the communities they are intended for.

-To cover the topics of diet and nutrition and then physical activity.

-To be developed across two languages and to be picture based.

Outcome:

At the end of the project, we published two booklets about healthy eating and physical activity in both Polish and Arabic.
